Active Toddler, Happy Toddler

As a parent, keeping your toddler active and healthy is important, and getting exercise with your little one is a great way to achieve this goal. Toddlers are naturally full of energy and love to play, so incorporating exercise into their playtime can be a fun and enjoyable experience for both you and your little one. Here are seven fun and easy ways to exercise with your toddler.

  1. Dance Party

Toddlers love to dance, so turn up the music and have a dance party with your little one. Not only is dancing fun, but it’s also a great way to get your heart rate up and burn calories. You can create a playlist of your toddler’s favorite songs and let them choose the music. You can also incorporate some fun dance moves and teach your toddler how to groove along. This is our favorite way to have fun and help with that extra energy from your active toddler.

  1. Balloon Volleyball

Balloon volleyball is a fun and safe way for your toddler to practice hand-eye coordination and get some exercise. Blow up a balloon and use a piece of string or a ribbon as a makeshift net. You can play indoors or outdoors, and your active toddler will love trying to keep the balloon in the air.

Going on a nature walk or exploring your backyard can be a great way to get some exercise and fresh air. Your active toddler will love discovering new things, like bugs, flowers, and birds. You can make it a scavenger hunt by creating a list of things to find, like a pinecone or a bird’s nest. You can also play games, like follow the leader or red light, green light, to keep your toddler moving. This is one of our favorite ways, Baby Goblin is always relaxed and happy after a walk.
