Hi,
I’m the Ardent Goblin, your socially awkward and sometimes funny mom friend. Welcome to my journey into the world of game development.

I’ve always been full of big dreams with many stories to tell. I never knew how I wanted to present my ideas to the world at large. What I wanted to do when I grew up changed biannually, right up until I was 25. For the majority of my adult life, my focus was on earning enough to survive.

I started working full time at 19, and college was never a financially feasible option. So here I am pushing 30 teaching myself everything I can. What was the catalyst in my career change? I became a mother. Looking into my newborns eyes and realizing that some day I’d be telling this tiny human to chase their dreams was a wakeup call. How was I supposed to do that with any semblance of sincerity if I had never tried chasing my own dreams?

Here I am now, having hit the snooze button on that wakeup call a few times, revitalizing my pursuit of the seemingly impossible; becoming a successful game developer. Follow along with me as I learn, grow, and find ways to laugh every step of the way.
